The non-profit organization ehrenfeldstudios e.V. is dedicated to the visibility of dance and performing arts in Cologne and beyond.

The artistic focus lies on intergenerational and intercultural work in the field of dance and performance. The artist-run organization is locally and internationally networked with a variety of institutions, dance makers, and associations in order to reach a diverse and mixed-age audience.

The interdisciplinary approach weaves together artistic projects and cultural education for all generations. Participation and exchange lead to the continuous development of the program, the artists and the ehrenfeldstudios’ team. This dialogue between artists, audiences and participants allows for a deepening and broadening of artistic and social perspectives on art and its role in different communities.

The ehrenfeldstudios offer intergenerational dance festivals, present diverse dance works and share artistic methods in a variety of workshop and lab formats, both professional and amateur or mixed.

The goal is to make dance and performance accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender or background.
