Low Air Vilnius City Dance Theatre is the first independent urban dance company in Lithuania with an official theatre status since 2012. The creative team of the company is well experienced Lithuanian dancers and choreographers who are experimenting and combining different dance vocabularies and movement forms to create a respectful and inclusive creative and learning environment. The company’s long-term aim and active effort always were to network internationally, to cooperate with diverse society members who differ linguistically, bodily, religiously, or ethnically to be part of artistic creation using different dance styles and movement forms.

To empower women artists to choreograph, to present young artists, to teach and perform,  by educating to encourage kids, young adults, and elders to dance, to support and give voice to the community representing the performing arts on professional stage and public spaces making local cities culturally vibrant. By curating the artistic themes questioning social-just and non-violent communication, to present performing arts locally and internationally.

The organisation runs a dance space with studios in Vilnius available for local and international residencies, organises a dance festival and winter dance summit Colony.
